Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SophalOpts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

SophalOpts is a rental management dashboard that provides tools for:

  • Tracking tenant information and lease agreements
  • Recording and monitoring rent payments
  • Managing room/property availability
  • Generating reports on rental operations

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

User Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts or guardians to gurentee the contracts
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or system areas
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Share tenant data with unauthorized third parties
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the Service

Data & Content

  • Your Data: You retain ownership of all tenant information, payment records, and property data you input. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.
  • Data Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, integrity, and legality of your data. You must ensure you have proper legal basis (such as tenant consent or legitimate interest) to process tenant personal information through our Service.
  • Backup: While we implement backup procedures, you are encouraged to maintain your own backups of critical data.

Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly/annual basis
  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice
  • Failure to pay may result in account suspension or termination
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, we will provide you with a data export window of 30 days, after which your data may be deleted from our systems
  • Provisions regarding data ownership, liability limitations, and dispute resolution survive termination

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SophalOpts, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Cambodia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
